Scout Toy Making Badge Program:

 

The Scout Toy Making Badge Program offer three different types of tours designed to support local Scout’s in achieving their toy making badge requirements. 

 

General Tour:

 

This tour includes the following.

  • A presentation on how toys are made-past and present.
  • A scavenger hunt that allows students to explore the world of toys while reinforcing concepts for learning.
  • A tour of the museum highlighting historical and scientific significance shown through toys.
  • Age level based activities using toys in our interactive play area-Toy Works.

Cost per Scout is $4.

                                                                Length of tour is 1-1/2 hours

Toy Making Workshop:

 

Includes the general tour plus teach scout gets to make a small toy to take home.

Cost per Scout is $6.

                                                                  Length of tour is 2 hours.

Junior Girl Scout Tour:

 

Includes the general tour plus each scout makes a an Indian Corn Husk doll to take home,

receives a Toy Town Museum badge and a take away project to share at home.

Cost per Scout is $10.

Length of tour is 2-1/2 hours.

There is no charge for Scout leaders and chaperones for any of the above tours.
